The top-flight clubs are queuing up to pursue their interest in flying Norwich City and England Under-21 winger Nathan Redmond – if internet and press speculation is to be believed.

It started with weekend reports that Southampton will return with an improved bid for the 20-year-old in January, having apparently seen their £5m bid rebuffed in the summer.

A number of outlets speculated the Canaries would be willing to sell for a fee of £8m.

Since the weekend, Stoke have also been linked with re-igniting their own chase for Redmond having failed to land the winger in August.

West Bromwich Albion, Liverpool and Newcastle United complete the list of clubs linked with Redmond, who has shone for England's young lions during the current international break – especially their 3-1 victory over Portugal at Turf Moor on Thursday night.
