The summer speculation surrounding Norwich City's expected relegation back to the Championship has already begun, with Nathan Redmond as prime subject.
The Canaries' Premier League fate is not official yet but the vultures are already circling following City's Saturday loss at home to Manchester United and Sunderland's subsequent win over Chelsea.
The Sunday Mirror has linked winger Nathan Redmond with a summer move to Stoke, saying Potters boss Mark Hughes reportedly sees the 22-year-old as better value for money than West Brom forward Saido Berahino.
Redmond created the best chance of Saturday's defeat at Carrow Road, as Cameron Jerome headed straight at United goalkeeper David de Gea.
In fact, the former England Under-21 international is joint top scorer with Dieumerci Mbokani so far this season, scoring five goals in 35 games – and he has been linked with several top-flight clubs during his three-year stay at Carrow Road.
Redmond signed a four-year contract when he joined the Canaries in the summer of 2013, for a reported fee of £3.2m from boyhood club Birmingham City – that contract is due to expire in June 2017.
Redmond has previously been linked with Liverpool and Southampton, as well as Crystal Palace in January – when it was reported in the national media that City had offered the winger a new long-term contract.
In total Redmond has scored 12 goals since joining Norwich, including a memorable strike to finish a flowing team move, in last-season's 2-0 play-off final victory over Middlesbrough at Wembley almost 12 months ago.
