Robert Snodgrass is under no illusions Norwich City's squad are now under massive pressure to save their Premier League lives.

City slipped into the bottom three on Sunday after Sunderland hammered Cardiff City 4-0 following on from the Canaries' own 4-0 loss at Manchester United on Saturday evening.

Norwich must now look to take points from title-challenging Chelsea and FA Cup finalists Arsenal and rely on stumbles from the Black Cats to stay in the top flight.

'There is a massive amount of pressure that goes on, each day, as an individual, to give everything you have got,' said Snodgrass, speaking at the Scottish PFA awards on Sunday night. 'You need to better yourself every day to give yourself the best possible chance to stay in this division. It doesn't get any easier, playing against the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, but it's what you want to be in the Premier League for, to play against the best. We'll roll our sleeves up and try to give a good account of ourselves and get a few results.'
