Norwich City’s pre-match press conference ahead of the Canaries’ final fixture of the season at home to QPR proved a notable affair.

Earlier this week, Norwich City announced that goalkeeper John Ruddy and centre-back Ryan Bennett are among seven senior players who are being allowed to leave on a free transfer this summer.

The long-serving duo are joined by defenders Sebastien Bassong, Michael Turner and Steven Whittaker, midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu and striker Kyle Lafferty in being informed they will not have their contracts renewed.
