Norwich City missed out on deadline day signings but how do you rate their summer transfer business?

Alex Neil added five new faces to his squad for the Championship promotion push, with highly-rated young midfielders Sergi Canos and Alex Pritchard joining from Liverpool and Tottenham respectively. City paid a reported initial £10.5m for the duo and headed off interest from a host of Championship rivals to entice the pair to Carrow Road.

Northern Ireland's Euro2016 star Michael McGovern arrived on a free transfer after his contract ended at Hamilton Academical and Paul Jones made a similar move from Portsmouth to provide back-up in the goalkeeping department.

Nelson Oliveira was the striker Norwich managed to get over the line in the final days of the window, after sealing a permanent move from Benfica, following loan stints in England at Swansea City and Nottingham Forest, but City's failure to add further in the striking department was the biggest source of frustration on Wednesday.

Steven Naismith and Kyle Lafferty remained in the building, while Robbie Brady and Timm Klose will also be part of Neil's squad moving forward despite widespread speculation touting them with summer moves.

Neil did sanction departures for club-record signing Ricky van Wolfswinkel and midfielder Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe, with Jake Kean moving on a free. Declan Rudd, Remi Matthews, James Maddison, Harry Toffolo and Tony Andreu have all departed for now on loan moves.
