Our Norwich City correspondent Paddy Davitt has posted his marks following the Canaries’ 2-0 defeat at Carrow Road.

Here is Paddy’s verdict on Daniel Farke’s troops, who were put away by the slick Cottagers in the second half.

• Angus Gunn

Rare lapse trying to deal with Ryan Sessegnon burst but bailed out by Christoph Zimmermann. 6.5

• Ivo Pinto

Couple of trademark attacking surges. Easier task dealing with Floyd Ayite than Sessegnon. 6.5

• Christoph Zimmermann

Fine goal line block. Looks at ease now in this company. 7.0

• Timm Klose

Errors contributed to both goals but midfield went AWOL in front of him. 6.0

• Jamal Lewis

Vibrant. Kept a clever operator in Ryan Fredericks largely in check. 7.0

• Alex Tettey

Ball-watching for Tom Cairney’s goal. 5.5

• Harrison Reed

Underlined his versatility again with a switch from a deeper-lying role to a wider area. Willing to track back and fill in for Pinto. 7.0

• Mario Vrancic

Ball-watching for Stefan Johansen goal. 5.5

• James Maddison

Better when tucked in more centrally. Best effort whipped wide in closing seconds. 6.5

• Josh Murphy

Standard mixed bag. One sweet volley but decision-making again questionable at times. 6.5

• Dennis Srbeny

Denied a first goal by Marccus Bettinelli’s flying leap. Needs to work on hold up play with his back to goal. 6.5

City substitutes

• Nelson Oliveira n/a

(for Dennis Srbeny, 76)

• Wes Hoolahan n/a

(for Alex Tettey, 77)

• Marucs Edwards n/a

(for Mario Vrancic, 84)
