Nelson Oliveira misses out on a reunion with former club Nottingham Forest at Carrow Road this evening, as part of two changes to the Norwich City side.

Oliveira is unexpectedly missing from the City squad completely, leaving Dennis Srbeny to lead the attack and with the only other change coming in defence where Christoph Zimmermann is replaced by the fit-again Timm Klose.

Zimmermann missed four days of training last week due to a 'private issue' but is okay for the bench, with Canaries boss Daniel Farke seemingly sticking with the 4-1-4-1 formation he deployed during the 0-0 home draw with Bolton.

The hosts are fresh from a weekend without a game after seeing their trip to Barnsley postponed on Saturday, as they look to continue a six-match unbeaten run.

Forest make just one change, with Cardiff loanee Lee Tomlin missing out completely and replaced by Everton loanee Kieran Dowell

The visitors won 2-1 at lowly Birmingham on Saturday to extend their own unbeaten run to four games, four points and a place behind the Canaries in 15th in the Championship table, having played one match more.

Former Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka succeeded Mark Warburton in late December but has shaken off defeats in his first three games in charge with two wins and two draws, with the help of January loan signings including goalkeeper Costel Pantillimon and midfielder Ben Watson from Watford, former England international Jack Colback from Newcastle.

Norwich: Gunn; Reed, Hanley, Klose, Lewis; Tettey (C); Hernandez, Leitner, Maddison, Murphy; Srbeny. Subs: McGovern (GK), Pinto, Husband, Zimmermann, Vrancic, Hoolahan, Watkins

Forest: Pantillimon; Darikwa, Figueiredo, Fox, Osborn; Watson (C), Colback; Cash, Tomlin, Lolley; Brereton. Subs: Kapinos (GK), Mancienne, Worrall, Guediora, Bridcutt, Murphy, Vellios
