Norwich's club-record signing Ricky van Wolfswinkel has been named in the Dutch squad for upcoming friendlies against Indonesia and China.

The Sporting Lisbon striker, who officially joins the Canaries on July 1, was included in Louis van Gaal's 21-man squad unveiled on Wednesday morning alongside the likes of Manchester United's Robin van Persie, Bayern Munich's Arjen Robben and Galatasaray's Wesley Sneijder.

The 24-year-old will join up with his compatriots at a training camp in Holland next week before flying out to face Indonesia in Jakarta on June 7 and travelling on to Beijing to play China on June 11.

Russell Martin, Steven Whittaker and Robert Snodgrass have all been named in Scotland's squad for next month's World Cup qualifier against Croatia. Declan Rudd is part of Stuart Pearce's England Under-21 squad who will compete in the European Championships in Israel and midfielder Wes Hoolahan was recently named in the Repbulic of Ireland squad for upcoming friendlies against England, Georgia and Spain, along with a World Cup qualifier against the Faroe Islands in Dublin on June 7.
