Norwich's on loan keeper Fraser Forster is reportedly attracting interest from Premier League Stoke.

Potters' boss Tony Pulis has targeted the 21-year-old if attempts to resurrect a January transfer window move for Portsmouth stopper David James fall through.

A loan deal for the England keeper collapsed last week over James' personal terms forcing Pulis to draw up a list of alternative targets with Thomas Sorensen and Steve Simonsen both linked with moves away from the Britannia Stadium.

Newcastle keeper Forster had previously been linked with both north London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham after earning rave reviews in Norwich's League One promotion push.

The 21-year-old has yet to make a first team appearance at St James' Park, but he has enjoyed loan spells at Stockport, Bristol Rovers and Norwich.
