Norwich City winger Anthony Pilkington can't wait to get 100 per cent fit to show the Canaries fans what he can do.

The 23-year-old came on as a second half substitute during City's 3-0 win against Parma on Saturday afternoon and looked lively before setting up Andrew Surman's second goal to complete the scoring after Grant Holt's opener in the first half.

Since signing for City Pilkington has been continuing his rehabilitation from a dislocated ankle and broken fibula sustained whilst at Huddersfield and will be ready if called upon for City's Premier League opener against Wigan.

'I'm just relishing being out there and getting my fitness back and playing to the best of my ability,' he said. 'I can't wait to get 100 per cent fit and show everyone what I can do.

'I'm just going to keep working hard on the training pitch – if I have to wait a couple more weeks then so be it, it's up to the gaffer.

'I feel I've got some good playing time under my belt now.'
