NORWICH TEAM NEWS

Alex Tettey (knee) and Todd Cantwell (dead leg) are both back from midweek rests but Ben Marshall (illness) is not yet ready to return after U23 action yesterday. Onel Hernandez (hernia) should be back in full training next week but Kenny McLean (ankle) is not yet at that stage. Carlton Morris and Matt Jarvis (both knee) both remain out long team and Nelson Oliveira is out of favour.

QPR TEAM NEWS

Strikers Will Grigg and James Vaughan are fit after minor knocks but Dan Burn (foot) and Gavin Massey (hamstring) are still out.

FROM THE DUGOUT

City head coach Daniel Farke

'I think it's important when you are on such a run – we are six unbeaten, have won five of the last six games, have won four in a row – that you feel this joy and are really happy, that you are there in a good mood because otherwise you will lose your motivation for why you are doing all this hard work in training and being concentrated on why you want to win this game.

'So it's important that you feel the joy when you are successful. I can't deny that we are a bit the team of the moment and that it is a good feeling but we know how close all the games are and how difficult each and every victory was.

'We have our feet on the ground but we are in a good mood.'

Latics boss Paul Cook

'Look, we're enjoying being in this division, and we're going to do our best to deflect as much pressure as we can,' Cook told Wigan Today.

'Our fans will have travelled home from Brentford (a 2-0 loss) really disappointed, but you then go back to Rangers in pre-season, and QPR the other week, which was the same.

'But then you flip that and look at how we all felt coming back from Stoke (a 3-0 win), and the home games with Sheffield Wednesday and Nottingham Forest.

'That's the journey of a player, a supporter, a manager, and this division has its downs as well as its ups.'

ONE TO WATCH

Nick Powell

Four goals and three assists from nine games have made Powell one of the Championship's top performers this season. Injury problems brought an end to the midfielder's time at Manchester United but, still just 24 years old, is Wigan's creator in chief.
