Norwich City have reportedly rejected a £3m bid from Premier League outfit West Ham United for Swedish international left-back Martin Olsson, according to Sky Sports.

Olsson played 81 minutes of the Canaries' 3-2 defeat to Hannover 96, in their final pre-season friendly of the summer – ahead of Saturday's EFL Championship kick-off at Blackburn.

The 28-year-old featured prominently for Sweden at this summer's European Championships in France, and has one year remaining on his current deal at Carrow Road, having arrived in the summer of 2013.

West Ham need a left-back following the pre-season knee injury suffered by first choice Aaron Cresswell, which has ruled him out for the next four months.
