Jacob Murphy's stunning impact in Norwich City's Championship promotion push is seeing him touted with Premier League trio Tottenham, Everton and Southampton ahead of next month's transfer window.

Murphy signed a new deal keeping him at Carrow Road until 2021 only two weeks ago but that is not going to stop speculation, with ESPN claiming on Tuesday afternoon City may have to fend off top flight interest in the 21-year-old.

Murphy's seven goals in 19 appearances have reportedly alerted the big-hitting Premier League trio who must now weigh up whether to test City's resolve to hang onto one of their best young talents.

The wide player made it clear recently after penning his new Norwich deal he was not interested in chasing a big-money move to the Premier League at this stage of his young career.

Murphy, who was presented with the club's November player-of-the-month award prior to the weekend's 5-0 romp against Brentford, was again impressive on Saturday and was heavily involved in the opening goal before earning the penalty eventually scored by Graham Dorrans to double the Canaries' lead.
