Norwich City are reportedly interested in Newcastle United goalkeeper Freddie Woodman.
The Canaries, as well as Championship rivals Sheffield United, have been linked with the 21-year-old keeper.
The Newcastle Chronicle says Woodman – who has yet to play in the Premier League for the Magpies – would be allowed to leave, but only on loan.
Woodman has already had loan spells at Hartlepool, Crawley, Kilmarnock and Aberdeen, where he battled with former Canaries youngster Joe Lewis for the number one shirt.
Angus Gunn was Norwich’s number one choice last season but has returned to parent club Manchester City, while Remi Matthews is back at Carrow Road after his temporary stint with Plymouth Argyle – who have now signed Harry Burgoyne, from Wolves, who spent a short time on loan at Lowestoft Town in 2015.
Woodman – behind Martin Dubravka, Karl Darlow and Rob Elliot in the pecking order at Newcastle – has represented England at all youth levels, and has made six appearances for the U21s since his debut in 2016.
