Norwich City are reportedly leading the race to land Arsenal youngster Nathan Tella in the summer.

A report in the Daily Star claims the Gunners will not be offering the 17-year-old a new deal in the summer.

That has attracted City's interest.

Starsport also says City invited Tella to training, putting them ahead in the race for his signature.

Arsenal are said to have given Tella permission to train at other clubs in order to get a deal elsewhere.

They also claim Championship rivals Reading are interested in Tella.

While the Star believe Reading's reputation for blooding academy youngsters would appeal to Tella, they also point out Norwich have academy players of their own in Alex Neil's first-team in twins Jacob and Josh Murphy.
