Norwich City will step up their Premier League preparations with a friendly against Europa League hopefuls FC Augsburg, scheduled to take place in the German Alps on July 25.

The Canaries expect to release details of their tour plans over the next few days, but the German club have confirmed a game against Alex Neil's side in Prien am Chiemsee, on the German side of the Austria border, for Saturday, July 25.

City will head out to the German Alps after playing a friendly at Cambridge United on July 17. Israeli side Maccabi Haifa have been touted as another potential opponent on July 20 in Achenkirch, Austria, but neither club have yet to confirm that fixture.

Neil and the majority of his squad are currently at St George's Park for a five-day training camp before beginning their friendly programme with a short trip to non league neighbours Gorleston on July 11 as they fine tune plans for the Premier League kick off against Crystal Palace on August 8.
