Norwich City season ticket sales for next season have topped the 20,000 mark - and there are now just 250 left for sale.

The Canaries today confirmed that 20,250 ground and corporate season tickets at Carrow Road had been sold, and the club has set a cap of 20,500 to leave adequate availability for home casual sales and away fans.

City boss Paul Lambert said: 'I've said all along our support here is phenomenal. Last season I was bowled over by how many were there getting behind the team home and away. To find out we've nearly sold out for next season is incredible and a testament to the loyalty of our fans.'

Customer services manager Richard Gough said: 'Sales have gone really well and we're now down to our last 250 available season tickets. We still have availability in most areas of the stadium but hurry, because they will go quickly, I'm sure.

'With the season ticket sales and the capacity expansion work currently under way, crowds next season look set to be as healthy as ever.'

Additional seats being installed will bring ground capacity up to 27,000 next season.
