Norwich City midfielder Wes Hoolahan was included in the prestigious Football League's team-of-the-decade at their 10th annual awards announced on Sunday night.
Hoolahan and his manager Alex Neil were both in attendance for the ceremony in London which saw the Republic of Ireland international's club mate Nathan Redmond miss out on the Football League's young-player-of-the-year, after being short-listed alongside winner Deli Alii and Middlesbrough's on-loan Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford. Bamford, who led the Teessiders' frontline in Friday's 1-0 Championship win at Carrow Road, claimed the senior prize ahead of Watford's Troy Deeney and Ipswich's Daryl Murphy.
Norwich City's community trust was also short-listed, but the overall community award went to Derby County's community trust.
Hoolahan was in esteemed company alongside Gareth Bale and Adam Lallana for a career which has seen him win three Football League promotions with Blackpool and the Canaries.
The Football League awards were first launched in 2006 to celebrate excellence on and off the pitch among the 72 member clubs.
