Newcastle United are reportedly interested in Norwich City's Russell Martin and Andrew Surman.
The Evening Chronicle in Newcastle has reported that United are one of a number of teams who have run the rule over the pair in the last few months.
Midfielder Surman has scored four goals in 17 appearances and Martin, playing at both right-back and in central defence, has netted twice in 26 games for the Canaries this season.
Both players would have caught the eye of Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew during Norwich's 4-2 win over the Magpies back in December - Surman's corner leading to Norwich City's first goal.
