Norwich City Academy product Korey Smith is set to join Championship side Barnsley on loan until February 25.
Injury has limited the 20-year-old's opportunities so far this season, but the young midfielder is back fit now and looks set to be offered the chance of regular second tier football with Keith Hill's Tykes.
Smith played a major part in City's League One title success two seasons ago, before making 30 appearances as the Canaries made it successive promotions 12 months later.
