This week marks a year since Norwich City's Premier League relegation – the fuel in the Canaries' fire to get back their through the play-offs, and at the expense of their East Anglian rivals.
Of the four Championship teams battling for a place at Wembley, that makes the Canaries' circumstances different – but not an issue, as far as Jonny Howson is concerned.
'For each individual, you've maybe got different motivations in wanting to get back there,' said the City midfielder.
'What happened last season happened and we can't affect that, but it'd be great to get back at the first time of asking.
'It's what every team wants to do, play in the Premier League – and that's why, as you've seen, it means so much to both sets of players.'
And that should ensure a few battles from Portman Road continue into Saturday's second leg in Norfolk.
'When you do have two teams going for it, giving it everything they've got, there will be confrontations – they just add to the spectacle,' Howson added.
