Norwich City's early Championship derby against Ipswich Town at Portman Road is set to be put back a day to Sunday, August 21.
Town released a statement on their official site on Friday afternoon regarding fixture changes that indicated the derby will move from its original date of August 20 (KO 3pm), in addition to switching their home game against Bristol City in December.
It read: 'Town's home game with Bristol City has been moved forward a day, to Friday, December 30. The fixture against the Robins will now kick-off at 7.45pm on the Friday, after both clubs agreed to the re-arranged date.
'Town's game against Norwich at Portman Road is also likely to be moved, with a provisional date of Sunday, August 21 pencilled in. The kick-off for this game could be midday at the advice of the police, although this is subject to change as Skysports plot their next round of live televised games, which will be announced on Friday.
'All fixtures are subject to change and once we have more clarity on the Norwich game in particular, we will inform supporters as soon as possible.'
