Norwich City manager Neil Adams has been nominated for August's Championship manager of the month award.
The City boss has led his side to three wins and a draw since the opening day defeat at Wolves. He is up against Kenny Jackett, whose newly promoted Wolves have already beaten the three relegated Premier League sides.
Stuart Pearce, manager of leaders Nottingham Forest who have dropped just two points this season, and Millwall's Ian Holloway complete the shortlist.
Forest's Michail Antonio, Blackburn midfielder Tom Cairney, Millwall defender Alan Dunne and Charlton striker Igor Vetokele complete the player of the month candidates.
The winners of the awards will be announced tomorrow.
