Norwich City have reportedly offered to take Chelsea midfielder Kasey Palmer on loan for the 2018/19 season.
The Canaries could face competition from Ligue 1 club Nice, who have also made a move for the 21-year-old according to Sky Sports News.
Palmer is apparently keen to sort out his future as soon as possible but may have to wait until the future of Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is sorted. The Italian is likely to leave Stamford Bridge this summer with Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri set to replace him and any transfer business has been put on hold until this situation is resolved.
Palmer played a key role in Huddersfield's promotion to the Premier League in the 2016/17 season before a stint at Derby last campaign.
City have been active in the transfer market over the last few days bringing in both Ben Marshall and Teemu Pukki from Wolves and Brondby respectively.
That has taken their incoming business up to four so far this summer following the arrivals of Emi Buendia and Moritz Leitner but it remains to be seen whether Palmer becomes the fifth.
