Norwich City back-up keeper Jake Kean has joined League One side Swindon Town on an initial seven-day emergency loan deal.

The Football League's loan window closed on March 24 but clubs can secure week-long deals for goalkeepers under exceptional circumstances.

Kean joins Louis Thompson at the County Ground and is available for the Robins' home league game this weekend against Bury and the following midweek trip to Walsall.

The 25-year-old has not made a senior appearance for the Canaries since joining on a free transfer last summer and spent a previous loan spell at fellow League One club Colchester United earlier this season, making five appearances in all competitions.
