Norwich City chief executive David McNally tweeted on Saturday night that he had resigned, but with no official confirmation from the club it left some fans bemused, others joyous and others disappointed.
We've gathered some fan reaction above and we'll have the latest developments here.
McNally said in the tweet to a disgruntled fan: 'I understand your view. I've resigned tonight and I hope that the club can now progress.'
It comes after the Canaries lost 1-0 at home to Manchester United today, leaving them in 19th place in the Premier League and on the brink of relegation.
Alex Neil's side haven't scored in the last four games, and with Sunderland beating Chelsea on Saturday, their second relegation from the Premier League in three seasons appears to be only a matter of time.
There was no official word from Norwich City on Saturday evening about their chief executive's position.
