Almost 9,000 fans are heading to the Emirates Stadium to cheer on the Canaries.

The fourth round cup tie comes just two days after Norwich City recorded a huge victory in the derby match at Portman Road.

Supporters were in a bullish mood outside Carrow Road this afternoon as stewards distributed Daniel Farke masks amongst the travelling faithful.

The head coach is a popular man at present after guiding City to almost two months undefeated, however, Farke knows his boys are undeniably underdogs tonight.

He said: 'There is no pressure on us because 19 times out of 20 in this situation, Arsenal would go through to the next round. There is always that one time, though, to create something special.'

Fans were in high spirits en route to north London, riding a wave of positivity off the back of Sunday's result, and they will be hoping the buoyant atmosphere in the away end will spur on the players tonight.

It is expected that both managers will make changes to their starting line-ups for tonight's encounter. Arsenal, like Norwich, played on Sunday afternoon, winning 5-2 away at Everton. They also played away in Serbia last Thursday, nicking a one goal victory in the dying embers against Red Star Belgrade. As such, Arsene Wenger is likely to rest some of his big name players, though as Farke points out, many of the Gunners reserves are of international pedigree.

'They played 48 hours ago as well but the difference is if (Alexis) Sanchez comes out, (Olivier) Giroud comes in. If (Mesut) Ozil is out, then Theo Walcott comes in. All world class players.'

While City's battling win on Sunday will have undoubtedly drained players, the Canaries extended their excellent form and the camaraderie between the players was evident at the full-time whistle.

City reached the last 16 with a 3-1 victory over Brentford at Griffin Park in September, while Arsenal progressed with a 1-0 win at home to Doncaster Rovers.

• The match kicks off at 7.45pm and will go to extra-time and penalties if the sides are even at the end of 90 minutes.
