Alex Neil insists his Norwich City squad have not needed a major pick-me-up to get them ready to face Premier League champions Chelsea on Tuesday after their late Leicester City defeat.

City remain out of the relegation zone on goal difference after conceding an 89th minute winner to the title-challenging Foxes at the weekend and Norwich's task gets no easier on Tuesday at Carrow Road with the Blues 14 games unbeaten domestically since Guus Hiddink replaced Jose Mourinho.

Neil revealed at Colney on Monday afternoon he has no fresh injury concerns from the Foxes' defeat. Andre Wisdom (knee) is ruled out again and Seb Bassong and Wes Hoolahan remains doubtful after missing the game at Leicester with what Neil labels 'niggles'. Patrick Bamford is ineligible against his parent club.

'We haven't really needed to pick them up. Players are clever. They know they deserved more than what they got and hopefully they can take great heart from that performance and endeavour into the next game,' said Neil. 'Andre (Wisdom) is still out so he is not going to be available. Seb Bassong and Wes (Hoolahan) will be last minute calls. It is two wee niggles, nothing major. What I wouldn't want to do is give away where the injuries are and that becomes a weakness for the two lads and a source of target for others maybe. Hopefully they can shake it off. Patrick (Bamford) is obviously ineligible.

'Chelsea have certainly found some form, compared to the start of the season. Individuals are performing better than they were, that is for sure, and I think they have picked up points on the back of it.'
