Norwich City’s players are edging back towards football normality, as they step up training this week, leaving plenty to be discussed in our latest Norwich City Debate from 1pm.
Premier League clubs unanimously voted through Step One of the Return to Training Protocol yesterday, with coronavirus testing now being completed before players resume team training in small groups.
They will still be operating under strict social distancing and hygiene guidelines, ahead of full contact training potentially returning later in the month, if all goes well.
The changes are part of the attempts to resume the suspended top-flight campaign in June, as part of Project Restart, but during the past week the Scottish Premiership has been concluded and League Two clubs have voted for their campaign to be settled using a weighted points-per-game method, which the EFL board is yet to ratify.
