Norwich City confirm no fans ejected for persistent standing during Everton match

Norwich City have confirmed no fans were ejected from Carrow Road because of persistent standing during Saturday's dramatic 2-1 win against Everton.
The club issued a statement the day before the game appealing for fans to sit down and ensure 'serious sanctions' are not imposed upon the club.
All major football stadiums eventually become all-seater following the Hillsborough Disaster in 1989 - which saw 96 Liverpool fans die in an overcrowded standing area.
Safety advisory groups around the country work with football clubs to ensure football fans are not persistently standing in all-seater stadiums.
The Canaries announced they would be working with the Norfolk Safety Advisory Group ahead of the game, although pointed out the club's hierarchy understood some people would stand during 'exciting moments' of matches.
A club spokesman said: 'In general it went very well on Saturday and we would like to thank most fans for their co-operation with our staff on the day and we are pleased to say there were no ejections on the day for persistent standing.
'We will continue to focus on this issue and work with the Norfolk Safety Advisory Group on the issue of persistent standing at Carrow Road.'

A Norfolk police spokesman confirmed the only arrest at Saturday's match was of a 55-year-old man from Norwich who was arrested and cautioned for consuming alcohol in the stand.
