Winning back-to-back Championship matches has seen hope for the future continue to build for Norwich City fans, following a 1-0 home victory over Middlesbrough.
The success, thanks to a Tom Trybull strike just before half-time, was a fifth win in seven league games for Daniel Farke's team and built on last weekend's 1-0 triumph at Brentford.
City may have stayed 13th in the table and eight points adrift of the play-off places due to other results but with home form also picking up – winning two of their last three games – supporters' faith in the revamp under Farke and sporting director Stuart Webber is growing.
The Canaries are now within two points of Boro in ninth place though and well clear of any relegation worries, thanks to a 17-point cushion.
Next up is a difficult trip to second-placed Derby County next Saturday, who maintained their pursuit of runaway leaders Wolves with a 3-0 home win over Brentford and saw January signing Cameron Jerome on target.
