Our 'Track the Fan' project is an attempt to map where City supporters travel from for home games. How many come from Norwich? How many from elsewhere in Norfolk and how many from outside of the county? Which fan travels the greatest distance?

Between now and the end of the season we're appealing to Norwich fans about to attend Carrow Road to take part in our trial. It only takes a few seconds and if you leave your email address you will be put in the draw to win an iPad.

To get involved with the project and be in chance of winning an iPad you need to:

-Go to the Apple Store or the Google Play store

-Search for iGather and download the free app

-Open the app and select 'Track the Fan'

-Select 'Add a Fan' and fill in the brief details asking where you travel from and a photo of you travelling to the game and submit.

To be in with a chance of winning an iPad you need to leave your email address.

We'll be collecting details for the remaining three home games of the season as the Canaries push for promotion against Sheffield Wednesday, Middlesbrough and Fulham.

Tom Bristow, digital content editor at Archant Norfolk, said: 'Every other week thousands of fans descend on Carrow Road to watch their beloved Canaries. But where do they come from? Who travels the furthest? Do we have more fans from outside of the county than in?

'These are just some of the questions we hope to find out using the app.'

The project is part of a trial of a new app called iGather which allows people to easily submit news, information and opinion via their mobile phones.

Look out over the next few weeks for the launch of other campaigns using the same technology.

The results will be published at www.pinkun.com/track-the-fan
