Nelson Oliveira will finally get his first chance to show Norwich City supporters what he can do at Everton tonight.
The Portuguese striker was signed from Benfica during the final days of the summer transfer window, in a deal reportedly worth around £5million.
However the 25-year-old has not yet featured, as he gets his fitness up following limited pre-season preparations for the former Nottingham Forest and Swansea City loanee.
'Nelson will be in the squad,' City boss Alex Neil confirmed ahead of the EFL Cup third round tie.
'I just want him to go and show everyone what he can do because training is one thing, once you get to the real games you are hoping that he is going to show up as well as I think he well.
'He's technically very good, right foot, left foot, he can strike it from difference, good link-up play, he can take the ball and hold it, can bring people into the game, so that's the type of things you can expect from him in the game.'
After three league games in eight days – and Saturday's 2-1 win at Nottingham Forest making all three victories – some first-choice players are likely to be given a rest, ahead of Saturday's home league game against Burton and trips to Newcastle and Wolves next week.

'Obviously we want to do well in the cup, we want to do well in every game we play in but our priority is the league.' Neil said.
'Particularly the Championship, a lot of times you've got three games in a week, it starts again next week for us when we go Burton, Newcastle, Wolves, so that's three massive games for us.
'That's certainly going to be our priority.'
