Norwich City boss Neil Adams insists there is no magic formula behind the Canaries' impressive Championship start.

City made it five league wins in the last six games with a 3-0 victory at Brentford in stark contrast to enduring struggles for fellow relegated duo Cardiff City and Fulham. Adams, however, is demanding no let up from his squad in their bid to bounce back at the first attempt.

'You have to start the season well after the disappointment of what happened,' he said. 'Fulham have found it is really tough and all three of us were installed as favourites to go straight back up because we have players who have played in the Premier League. It is not that easy. You have to go about your business in the right way and we're delighted so far.

'I can't speak for Felix (Magath) and Ole (Solskjaer), because I am just concentrating on my team, but we kept the players we needed to keep and we added to that good core. We'll just keep our own house in order with the preparation and tactics and team selection.'

Adams' brand of attacking football has ensured his Norwich are one of the Championship top scorers ahead of this weekend's latest round of fixtures.

'There are no secrets from us. Teams know we are not going to go anywhere and look for a draw,' he said. 'I feel we have no choice with our players and 27,000 fans behind us at Carrow Road. They deserve to see a team trying to win games and play attractive football and so far we haven't done too bad. We've had all different types of test in this league. We've come up against teams who try to play, we've also faced teams who prefer to go more direct.'
