Nathan Redmond wants to carry on where he left off ahead of Norwich City's Premier League return.
The England Under-21 starlet played a leading role in the Canaries' Championship success, capped by scoring the second at Wembley to sink Middlesbrough.
'I had a bit of an extended break due to the Euros so I was itching to get back into it,' he said. 'I got a bit of consistent form towards the last five, six, seven games of the season and I couldn't have capped it off any better than a goal at Wembley and getting back to the Premier League.'
Redmond, speaking to the club's official Youtube channel, is excited by the challenge ahead.
'It comes around really quickly. It doesn't seem that long since we were preparing for Ipswich and Middlesbrough and now it's the Premier League,' he said. 'We want to stay in it now and it will be a tough season but enjoyable. Every team is looking to get off to a good start, we are no different, but it's a long season. Every game counts. I came when they were going into their third season and I have learnt so much since being part of the group. It is a strong bond we have here and come August 8 the lads will be ready.'
