Timm Klose is vowing to bounce back after enduring a disappointing Norwich City debut.
The centre-back's first start for the Canaries ended in a 3-0 home Premier League defeat against title-chasing Tottenham Hotspur. The Swiss international was one of five changes as Alex Neil looked to end a run of four defeats in all competitions, but City, and their new man, still came up massively short at Carrow Road last night.
'I thought after 10 to 15 minutes I was in the game and I tried my best,' said Klose.
'But I wasn't very happy with my performance. I have to watch where I can be better or what I can work on to reach the next level. That's very important to do that, not only for me but it's important for the club as well.
'I thought I had Harry Kane under control but he scored twice. I did my best to try and win everything against him but sometimes it's not that easy. We (as a team) need to stop the little mistakes which kill us really.'
Dele Alli's opener had Norwich on the ropes before a hotly disputed penalty, converted by Kane, put Spurs in complete control.
Klose's partner Seb Bassong was adjudged by Kevin Friend to have fouled Alli in the build-up to the visitors' second. But it was a call the new man from Wolfsburg – a £7.6million January transfer window arrival – completely disagreed with.

Klose, who saw Kane net another at the death, added: 'I don't think it was a penalty at all.
'Even if you say Seb hit him and the ball, he hit the ball first and then him. Even Alli turned his back to the goal to try and get in his position so he didn't think it was a clear penalty.
'For me it was clearly no penalty. But I didn't say anything to the referee. You can make your own picture of the things he did.'
