Concentration and fight are the keys to survival, according to Swedish international Martin Olsson.

The 25-year-old left-back has cut a comfortable figure for the Canaries since his summer move from Blackburn. But there may not be much that will be comfortable for anyone at Carrow Road as the battle for Premier League survival hits a new gear at the weekend.

'If we concentrate, we will be fine,' said Olsson. 'It was the same at Cardiff. Two mistakes. We switched off and that can't happen in this league, because teams will just punish you. It doesn't matter who it is.

'That's the thing about survival – eliminate the mistakes and be focused for 90 minutes.'

With a free weekend following last week's horrible defeat at West Ham, Norwich return to action on Sunday – after everyone else has played – when they host in-form Tottenham.

'It's tight down there but we can't think about other teams,' added Olsson, with just one point keeping City out of the relegation zone. 'We've got to go and play our football and start picking points up. Hopefully we'll get a few soon just to take us away from the bottom teams around us.

'It's going to be a battle from here on in, but we're ready for that battle. We've got loads of experienced players and no one is going to hide.'
