Yaya Toure is set to miss Manchester City's match at Norwich City tomorrow due to a heel injury.
The formidable midfielder joins Kevin De Bruyne (knee), Fabian Delph (shin) and Samir Nasri (thigh) on the sidelines, with that trio expected back after the international break, ahead of tomorrow's Premier League clash at Carrow Road (12.45pm kick-off).
The Ivorian may also miss next Tuesday's Champions League last-16 second leg against Dynamo Kiev, in which the Manchester side have a 3-1 advantage.
'The same three players – Nasri, Delph and De Bruyne are out and expected back after the internationals,' Citizens manager Manuel Pellegrini said at his pre-match press conference earlier today.
'This week Yaya Toure has a problem in his heel – same as Liverpool. Yaya is out. We'll see how he improves next week. We don't know (about Kiev) yet.
'It's important to have the players back. I hope that after the international break they will be fit for the rest of the season and that can be very important.'
While the visitors are looking to close the 10-point gap on leaders Leicester, the Canaries are fighting for their top-flight survival and Pellegrini expects the hosts to provide a stern test.
'I always say when you must play a side that are fighting relegation it's difficult, because they don't have too much to lose,' he added: 'And they must win their points at home. We will find a difficult team there.'
