There has been little time for Norwich City Under-23s to dwell on their disappointing semi-final defeat on Friday, as they are back in cup action this evening.

The young Canaries were beaten 1-0 by Sunderland at Carrow Road in the Premier League International Cup but have a chance to bounce back against Liverpool in the Premier League Cup in Chester tonight (7pm).

'I've been in the game long enough to know that when you get a knock you've got to pick yourself up and go again,' City academy manager Richard Money said.

'It's testimony to the group that we lose a cup semi-final and the next game on the horizon is the quarter-final of another cup, so that's testimony to how well they've done in the cup competitions.

'We know it's going to be tough, Liverpool are having a real go at this competition, they didn't enter the Checkatrade Trophy or the International Cup so you'd think they will be pretty much at full strength.'
