Jamal Lewis can't wait to see the rest of the Championship campaign unfold, after Norwich City proved what they are capable of, with three wins on the spin.
The 20-year-old was one of the Canaries' top performers during Saturday's 1-0 win at QPR, as the academy product's emergence as a senior left-back continues at an impressive rate.
'Obviously last year was a transition for us,' Lewis said. 'There were performances where we showed what we could do and there were performances that we wanted to improve on.
'This year I feel like we're a lot more solid, a lot more together and a lot more fluid in our play, so it's really good and I'm really looking forward to the rest of the season.'
Building on wins over Middlesbrough and Reading, the win at QPR left City in 11th place in the table but just four points off top spot, in 11th place.
'We saw these three games and we saw nine points, to be honest,' the Northern Ireland international continued. 'Obviously our start to the season wasn't the greatest but we knew that we'd be able to kick on with the momentum, training's been really good and it's good to get nine points at the end of the week.
'I just think we're showing what we can do, obviously we put a lot of work in on the training pitch and were just waiting to reap the benefits of that.
'We conceded quite a few goals at the start of the season so we just wanted to build from there, stay solid. We know we've got goals in the team so we just need to stay solid and try to get teams on the counter, play football and be clinical in front of goal.'

Lewis has been joined in the Canaries team by 18-year-old Max Aarons, impressing at full-back on the right.
'Max is brilliant, I've played with him from since I was really young because we were at Luton together,' he added, with both having been at Luton Town when they were younger. 'He's been a really good player from young so it's just really good to see him on the other side causing wingers havoc.
'He's like my little brother, I try to tell him things but he's confident, he's so good on the ball and at one-on-one defending. He's trained with us for the whole of pre-season and just kicked on, got his opportunity and he's grabbed it with both hands.'
