Colchester chairman Robbie Cowling today revealed that the Football League had reached its final decision from the tribunal looking into Paul Lambert's move to Norwich City as manager.
The details of the decision have still to be announced but Cowling said he was happy with the compensation the Canaries had been ordered to pay - though he felt they should have faced greater punishment.
Cowling told BBC Radio Essex: 'It has been advanced. The whole decision has been made now on sanctions and everything. However, we are waiting to be allowed what we can disclose and what we can't disclose. I've got a smile on my face regarding the compensation we received which I think they did right.'
But he added: 'I think the League didn't go far enough with the sanctions.'
