Hosts England got their quest for glory up and running more than a tad impressively this afternoon by annihilating Japan.

The Three Lions, coached by former Norwich City youth and reserve chief Keith Webb, won 14-0 with Jack Rutter notching a double hat-trick.

The day's other Group A match did not take place between Ukraine and Iran after the latter failed to get visas and were removed from the tournament.
