Hopes that fit-again youngster Jamal Lewis could solve Norwich City's problem left-back position are high among supporters.
The 19-year-old impressed during pre-season but picked up a knee injury before the campaign began, just as he looked to be closing on his senior debut.
With fellow academy product Harry Toffolo loaned to League One side Doncaster until January having struggled for full fitness in pre-season as well, it forced City into the transfer market.
German utility player Marco Stiepermann was brought in from VFL Bochum for around £1million and has since shared the load with summer signing James Husband.
Ahead of Lewis returning from injury we asked Canaries fans who should be first choice left-back when all of Daniel Farke's options are fit and available.
Lewis topped the pinkun.com poll with 57pc of the vote, ahead of Stiepermann on 20pc and Husband on 11pc, with the remaining 12pc voting that a new signing is needed in January.
It is a resounding vote of confidence in the talents of Lewis, who was signed from Luton Town in 2014 and can also play further forward as a winger thanks to his pace.
That is despite the vast majority of Canaries fans not yet getting a proper look at what the youngster is capable of. The academy prospect impressed enough in pre-season to be handed a new contract until 2021 though, with the club retaining the option for a further year as well.
That is perhaps as much a judgement on the unconvincing efforts of Stiepermann – who has played further forward for much of his career – and Husband.

Both the new arrivals have looked comfortable at Championship level in some games but also looked off the pace in others, with Husband's season disrupted by a calf injury which has kept him out of the last four matches.
The former Doncaster and Middlesbrough full-back is closing on a return to fitness as well though, so Farke will soon have more options to experiment with in that left-back position.
