Wes Hoolahan has signed a new contract with Norwich City until 2014.
Paul Lambert confirmed the news after Saturday's FA Cup defeat against Leyton Orient at Carrow Road.
The 28-year-old has scored eight goals in all competitions so far this season.
Lambert said: 'It's great for the club and great for Wes himself and I'm delighted with it.
'He's signed until 2014 and as I said we're trying to build things here and hopefully we can bring a few more in and keep it going.
'You can't do it overnight and in the 17 months I have been here the rise of the club has been huge. We're second in the league and everything has been going really well.'
