After a tense first season as player-coach, Norwich City legend Grant Holt is looking forward to his Carrow Road return this weekend.
The striker who powered the Canaries from League One to the Premier League will be helping to bring fantasy XIs to life on Sunday, when he will play alongside the likes of Iwan Roberts, Darren Eadie and Darren Huckerby.
Holt will be part of the City legends squad which takes on Inter Forever in aid of the Community Sports Foundation, fresh from helping Barrow avoid relegation in the National League.
The man who scored 78 goals in 168 games for Norwich had started the season at King's Lynn Town, before the chance to play back home in Cumbria and take two steps up the football pyramid came along.
'I enjoyed it, it's been great for me, it's given me the chance to coach full-time,' said Holt. 'I've done all my coaching badges that I went for, went in at that level and played more games than I thought I would have but I got a year's worth of coaching.
'I was very lucky and thanked (Lynn manager) Ian Culverhouse for letting me go because it was a fantastic step for my career, it was just disappointing to see that King's Lynn didn't go up.'
Holt made 23 appearances, although didn't find the back of the net, as Barrow finished a point and a place clear of the relegation zone in the top tier of non-league.
'Yeah we're pretty pleased, the remit when we went in was to stay up and we did it. We knew it was going to be a tough ask, you don't go into a football club when they're doing well normally, so we knew what to expect.
'We had to cut the budge a little bit as well, managed to get a few players in, which was good, and changed the dynamic.
'We took it a little bit closer than we would have liked but for a referee's decision we would have done it three weeks earlier, so that's part and parcel of football.
'The remit was stay up, they were second bottom and we finished fifth from bottom, so can be happy with that.'

The former Canaries skipper was given a hero's welcome when he played for Huddersfield at Carrow Road in December 2014 and is relishing another return to face Inter Forever.
'I'm lucky, I've been back a couple of times for Jamie's Game and stuff, and I love doing that,' he added. 'When you get asked to come and play football in this stadium and you know you're going to get a fantastic crowd – I just hope the fans come and support it for what it is, a fantastic cause.
'It's going to be good to play with some of the lads I've never played with, watched from afar in their heyday, I'm sure they've changed a bit now but it'll be good to be on the same pitch as them.'

The 37-year-old joined City long after the 1993 Uefa Cup run, being marked ahead of its 25th anniversary, but remembers watching the European adventure.
'I watched it, I think everyone remembers it, it was brilliant,' he added.
'I remember Gossy's volley, the kit, so it's nostalgia and fantastic for the football club that it's being remembered in this way.'
