Norwich City striker Carlton Morris has extended his loan spell with Hamilton until the end of the season.

Morris scored the third goal of his loan spell with the Scottish Premiership club on Wednesday, in a dramatic 4-3 home defeat to Inverness.

The 20-year-old has made 19 appearances for the Accies, starting 15 of those matches, since joining on loan in August.

The striker was a key part of City's under-18 squad which won the FA Youth Cup in 2013 and spent loan spells with League Two clubs Oxford United and Cambridge United last season, scoring once in 18 matches. He was also handed his Canaries debut as a late substitute in a 1-0 home loss to Wigan in the Championship last season and subsequently signed a new two-year contract.

His loan deal was due to expire today but he will now remain with the former club of City boss Alex Neil until the end of the campaign.

Martin Canning's team currently sit 10th in the table but are 12 points clear of bottom club Dundee United.
