The FA have overturned Grant Holt's red card following an official appeal from Norwich City after the Canaries' skipper was controversially sent off in the 3-3 draw at Reading on Saturday.
With City 3-1 up and half-time approaching, referee Michael Oliver turned the game on its head when he sent off Grant Holt for a foul on Ian Harte – TV replays weren't needed to prove that he got it badly wrong.
An FA regulatory hearing today decided to rescind Holt's dismissal therefore wiping out a three-game ban that would have seen him miss crucial home games against Leeds and Ipswich and the trip to Derby on December 4.
