Former City striker Aaron Wilbraham has joined Crystal Palace on a two-year contract. The 32-year-old Wilbraham was a free agent after being released by the Canaries at the end of last season.

He played 28 times in 18 months with Norwich, scoring twice. His goal in the 2-1 Premier League defeat at Fulham in March was the 100th of his career.

Palace manager Dougie Freedman said: 'Aaron is a player who brings with him experience of playing at the top level and one I am hugely looking forward to working with. I'm confident he will greatly improve the side and will be valuable in helping our younger squad members improve their own game as time goes on.'
