Norwich City head to Derby County in the Championship on Wednesday evening when they will be coming up against a number of familiar faces.

We take a look at the Rams players that once graced Carrow Road.

Bradley Johnson

It almost felt like Johnson was on a one-man mission to get Norwich promoted during the 2014/2015 season.

That is perhaps a little unfair on his team-mates but that campaign would have certainly ended a lot differently without his presence.

Deploying the former Leeds man as an attacking left-sided midfielder proved the making of him at Carrow Road and his contribution of 15 goals went a long way to taking City all the way to Wembley and that wonderful win over Middlesbrough.

With Johnson's stock high, City decided to cash in during the summer as Derby swooped in a £6m deal.

Neither party has really gone on to better things since. City were relegated from the Premier League under Alex Neil and haven't been back whilst Johnson is yet to hit the heights at Pride Park that he did with Norwich.

He did score the winner against the Canaries a couple of seasons back but that won't stop City fans giving him a great reception on Wednesday night.

Andre Wisdom

Signed on a season-long loan from Liverpool his aim was to impress the Reds whilst at Carrow Road and force his way into first team thinking with then boss Brendan Rodgers.

It didn't work out that way as injuries and loss of form saw him make just 14 appearances for the Canaries under Alex Neil. Steven Whittaker was preferred at the start of the 2015/16 season and then Russell Martin was getting in ahead of the youngster. His reluctance to really get forward was a source of frustration for many City fans.

Wisdom went on to join Red Bull Salzburg on loan the following season where he helped them to the Austrian League title.

After being told he was not in new Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp's thoughts he joined Derby for an eye-watering £4.5m. He made 34 appearances last season under Gary Rowett at Pride Park but it appears he is yet to convince new boss Frank Lampard, making just six appearances so far this season.

Jacob Butterfield

Signed by new Norwich boss Chris Hughton after running down his contract at Barnsley, much was expected of the youngster.

However, Butterfield never settled at Carrow Road, making just three appearances, and just a few months after signing he was loaned out Bolton until Christmas. A temporary move to Crystal Palace ended in March 2013 and his Norwich misery was ended the following summer when he signed a three-year deal with Middlesbrough.

He became a regular at the Riverside for a season before signing for Hudderfield Town in a swap deal that saw Adam Clayton go the other way.

A season at the Terriers ended in a multi-million pound move to Derby under Paul Clement. Eighty appearances and two seasons later he joined Sheffield Wednesday on loan for the season but made just 12 starts for the Owls.

Upon returning to Derby this summer he was left out of the official team photograph and it appears his future now lies elsewhere...again.

Alex Pearce

Brought to Carrow Road on loan from Reading by Glenn Roeder, the then 19-year-old made 11 appearances during his six months with the Canaries.

Pearce went on to establish himself at Reading, playing a season in the Premier League in the 2012/13 campaign. He eventually left the Madejski in 2015 to sign for Derby where he has since made 48 appearances over three seasons, which included a six-month loan spell with Bristol City at the start of 2016.

Doesn't appear to be in Frank Lampard's plans having made just one substitute appearance so far this season in the Rams' opening match of the season against Reading.
