Rough justice for Daniel Farke in Norwich City’s 2-0 Championship defeat to Cardiff City

Daniel Farke admitted Cardiff's late salvo was a sore one to take in a Norwich City's 2-0 Championship defeat to the promotion-chasing Bluebirds.
Kenneth Zohore beat Angus Gunn at his near post after the City keeper had initially parried his header. Juniot Hoilett wrapped up the win in stoppage time but Farke insisted the hosts deserved more.
'A tough one to take. Especially against such a strong opponent,' he said. ' I can only play compliments to the lads. We were really good in so many topics - commitment, togetherness, individual play, being greedy and aggressive and leaving your heart on the pitch.
'The first half was close but we had the better chances. Dennis (Srbeny) hits the post and in the second half I got the feeling there was only one team who are creating more and more.
'They score perhaps with the first chance in the 86th or 87th minute.
'The header is saved but then the ball is in the goal. The second the game was done because it was so late.
I am really pleased with the performance.

'This was an unfair result. We have to accept it. Probably we won't get the credit this season but hopefully in the future.
'When you are near the top and you sit in the dressing room after the game and can't explain how you have won, that is the situation Cardiff is in.
'After 85 minutes they would not expect to win. They would be happy with one point.'
Farke refused to criticise referee Tim Robinson who was again centre of attention in turning down an early second half penalty shout involving Harrison Reed.
'I didn't watch the scene back,' he said. 'I remember at Cardiff we were also 1-0 up and early in the second half conceded for a penalty for much less.
'There was a tackle and not only hitting the ball but Harry's (Harrison Reed) leg. I won't comment on the performance of the referee.'
